The Club shall be known as Gargrave Bowling Club (Charity No 1213971)
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall be held before the end of December.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) shall elect 5 Trustees who will be responsible for the efficient running of the club. An independent auditor shall also be appointed.
The Trustees shall form a General Committee comprised of themselves and as many members as the Trustees deem necessary. Trustees have the right to co-opt members when required.
The annual subscription of the club shall be fixed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and must be submitted, along with other documentation, no later than the end of March.
Junior Members are defined as members under 18 years of age.
Non-Payers will not be allowed to be selected for teams until all necessary subscriptions are paid
At the time of subscription payment members must complete and submit a form annually, including the following information:-
a/. Name, DOB, Registration Number, Address, Method of payment, Contact telephone numbers, availability for selection in various leagues.
b/. Agreement to Club Code of Conduct. Published on Club Website and Club Notice Board.
Any alterations to club Constitution or Rules can only occur at the AGM or Extra-Ordinary GM.
Any Trustee or General Committee member not attending four consecutive meetings, without good cause, shall be deemed to have resigned. Their seat may be filled by co-option or left vacant
No financial business shall be transacted at meetings with fewer than 5 members present.
Team Captains and/or Team Selection Committee shall be elected at a Players Meeting which will immediately follow the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Club Complaints Procedure will be published on the Club’s Website and Notice Board. To initiate investigation into the complaint it should be made in writing at the first instance
The data protection policy, which includes a list of individual’s rights and how to object, is set out in full on the club's website. Individual’s personal details will be stored and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Individual's information will be used solely to provide them with membership services and will not be shared with third parties.
