Club Trophies for 2026

These are friendly competitions between club members that take place throughout the summer as follows:

Curtley Cup
This is a doubles competition in which pairs choose their own partner.
May 17th 2026
The Mardall, Phillip, Baker Bowl
This competition is for a pair of bowlers - one experienced and one beginner
June 7th 2026
Keith Drinkall Trophy
This cup is a handicap competition, so more experienced bowlers can compete equally against less experienced players, which has been presented annually since 1991
June 21st 2026
Silver Jacks Doubles
Silver Jacks is a pairs competition
July 12th 2026
President's Prize
This is also a handicap competition
July 26th 2026
The Club Cup
The Club Cup is a non-handicap (scratch) tournament to establish the best club bowler
August 9th 2026
Gloria Garnett Memorial Trophy
A handicap competition that we use to raise funds for good causes
August 30th 2026
The Development Trophy
A handicap competition for any member with a handicap of 5 or over
September 6th 2026
The Pethybridge Trophy
A handicap trophy for ladies
August 16th 2026
The Ladies' Cup
A non-handicap (scratch) competition for ladies
August 16th 2026
The Guilfoyle Trophy
The Guilfoyle Trophy is a team event for a mixed team of four and takes place at the end of the league season
Starting approx. 8th September 2026. Because of green maintenance, this trophy will not be held in 2026.
